Despite being rescheduled a week later, many polling units reported only a few voters turning out to cast their ballots. Some citizens cited their loss of confidence in the electoral system, as well as the threat of violence from opposition parties as reasons for not participating. Civil society organizations like Enough is Enough (EiE) encouraged the electorate to come out and vote despite the challenges.
